Kiernan

Kiernan is now in Kindergarten and she loves it! We kept debating on if we should wait until next year to send her, but she seems to be doing great, so I think we made a good choice. Her teacher actually told us that she is ahead of the course work and will need extra work to keep her interested. She is reading so good and she loves to do her homework. Her latest faze is coloring. She used to never want to color, but now is doing it from morning until night. I actually have to take the crayons and book away from her so she will eat! Kiernan is making lots of new friends at school, too. I just need to get to know them and their parents, so we can make playdates. Kiernan is now taking a dance class once a week. They are learning jazz and modern dance. I sure wish someone here taught a ballet class because that is what we both really wanted. She likes to do the warm up exercises, but looses interest once they start learning their dance. I'm not sure how well she likes it yet, but I hope she does because it costs alot. We might try a different teacher next year or a different activity all together. She loved playing T-ball this summer and loves to go golfing with her dad.

Kale

Kale is 11 months old now and is quite a character! She is still not walking yet, but so close. She will walk pushing a stroller or holding your hands. She is a smiley, happy girl most of the time, but can sure throw a temper tantrum when she doesn't get what she wants. Kale seems to be getting into more things than Kiernan did at that age. I hope that is not a sign of what is to come. We will probably be having her 1st Birthday party (in connection with Brooklyn's) on November 1st in Glenwood. I don't know the details yet, but will keep you posted on that.

Hello!

Well, we thought we should get with the times and create a family website. I know we are terrible at keeping in touch with our family and friends, but maybe this will make it easier. I would like to post a bunch of photos on the site as well, but that may take some time. We have been soooo busy the last two months with work, the fair, hunting, building our house, school, church, etc.. I am actually writing this at midnight, the only time I have to myself, but I am extremely tired and am going to bed now. Please come check out our site often and feel free to post comments, too!
